A FCEA member shows her support for stabilizing KTRS Pensions.
This past week, KEA President, Stephanie Winkler, addressed the Kentucky Pension Oversight Board about how pension funding is the first legislative priority for our organization.
In addition, KEA retired members — many of them former FCPS staff — have continued their treks to Frankfort for the Governor’s KTRS Task Force Meetings. They, along with FCEA President Jessica Hiler, are putting a huge amount of time and energy into making sure task force members know that teachers are watching what happens.
There are two more Task Force meetings left on
November 16 and December 1. Let’s #ClosetheGap!
